Questions about hacked websites
How do I know if my website has been hacked?
Common signs are redirects to other sites, strange pages showing in Google results, a warning in the browser and a hosting company suspending your account.
Will I lose my website content during cleanup?
Web Start India works from a copy and takes a backup before cleaning, so your content is kept. We tell you if anything cannot be recovered.
Can you remove the Google warning about my website?
We request a review in Google Search Console once the site is clean. Google decides when to lift the warning.
Can my website be hacked again after cleanup?
It can, if the cause is not fixed. We find how the attacker got in and close it, and we recommend regular maintenance to keep the software current.
