For small businesses across India

Start online. Be easy to find and easy to reach.

Web Start India puts a website, a Google listing and a phone number that works in front of the people already looking for what you sell.

What we do

What we can set up, fix and look after

Most small businesses need two or three of these, not all 6.

  1. Websites

A quick, clear site that works well on a small screen and states what you do straight away.

  2. Online stores

Product pages, a cart and a payment step that customers can finish on a phone.

  3. Google Maps and local search

A complete business listing, so people nearby find you and can call in one tap.

  4. Search engine optimisation

Pages written and structured so the right searches lead to you.

  5. Ads and social media

Campaigns on Google and Meta, run to a monthly cap you choose.

  6. Care and fixes

Regular backups, software updates and quick repairs, so a working site stays working.

Where to start

Where are you starting from?

Nothing online yet

Begin with the basics.

A small site with a few clear pages and a Google listing is enough to be found and contacted. Add more once it is earning its keep.

Only social media pages

Keep them, and add a home of your own.

Social pages follow the platform's rules. A website is an address that stays yours and that search engines can read.

A site that is not working

Fix the base first.

If it is slow, out of date or awkward on a phone, ads and posts only send more people to a poor first impression.

A small business site should open quickly on a small screen, state what you do in one line, and make calling you a single tap.

Questions

Short answers to common questions

Where should a small business start online?

With what customers check first: a Google listing, a website that opens quickly on mobile, and a phone or WhatsApp number that works. Social media, ads and a blog can follow.

Is a website worth it if I already have an Instagram page?

For most businesses, yes. An Instagram page shows recent work well, but the platform controls the layout, the rules and who sees it. A website is the one address you control, and the one Google can read in full.

What should a home page say?

What you do, who it is for, where you work and how to reach you. If a visitor cannot answer those four questions within a few seconds, they go back to the search results.
