Websites for clinics and hospitals in Karimnagar
Patients in Karimnagar search by speciality, hospital name and health scheme, and the NMC's advertising guidelines of 6 October 2026 limit what a doctor or hospital may say. Web Start India builds clinic and hospital websites that answer those searches with facts the guidelines allow.

What patients type into Google
On 10 October 2026 we typed health searches into Google from India and read what it suggested. Suggestions shift by day, device and person, so read this as direction, not as a count of searches.
| What patients type | What it tells you | What your site needs |
|---|---|---|
| karimnagar ortho doctors list, gynecology doctors list, pediatrics doctors list, skin specialist | They look for a speciality first and a name second | A page for each speciality that lists the doctors who see it |
| a hospital's name followed by "doctors list" | They want to see who is on the team before they travel | One doctors directory: name, qualifications, speciality, registration number, days available |
| karimnagar best eye hospital, best hospital for delivery in karimnagar | They want someone to choose for them | Facts a patient can check, since "best" is not yours to claim (see below) |
| karimnagar aarogyasri hospitals list, esi hospital list, ehs hospital list | They need to know whether a scheme is accepted | A line for each scheme you are empanelled under, and only those |
| diagnostic centre price list, packages, timings | They compare cost and hours before booking a test | Test packages and timings as plain text |
| a hospital's name followed by phone number, address, photos or reviews | They already know the name and want to reach you | Phone, address, hours and photos on Google and on your site, written identically |
A doctors directory and a page for each speciality
The guidelines treat a hospital website with a directory of doctors, giving names, recognised qualifications, specialities, registration details and availability, as patient information and "materially distinct" from an advertisement (paragraph 9.1). That is the page the "doctors list" searches are looking for, so it comes first.
Each speciality page then says, in plain words, which conditions the doctors see, when they are available and how to book. A single-doctor clinic needs one page with the same facts and no directory.
What the NMC guidelines of 6 October 2026 mean for the site
The National Medical Commission issued these guidelines on ethical advertising and public communication in a public notice (R-13014/01/2024-Ethics) that took effect immediately. Websites and messaging apps are named as advertising media. These are the points that shape a clinic site:
- Show who is practising. Name, qualifications, registration status and the State or National Medical Register number (paragraph 3.2, explanations III and IV).
- No superlatives. No "best", "No.1 Specialist", "100% success", "painless treatment" or "guaranteed cure" (paragraph 8.1).
- No testimonials or before-and-after photographs. Patient consent does not make them allowed (paragraphs 6.2 and 8.1).
- No bought or staged reviews. No fake, paid or misleading reviews, no bought followers or likes, and no manipulating search rankings to create a false impression (paragraphs 3.2 and 8.1). A doctor must also not request or share patient testimonials or reviews for promotion on social media.
- Facts are allowed. Name, location, contact details, departments, facilities, equipment, services, emergency services, accreditation and charges (paragraphs 8.3 and 9.1).
- No payment per patient. An agency's fee must not be linked to the referral of individual patients (paragraph 8.1).
We build to these points as written. The clinic stays responsible for what it publishes, and your state medical council has the final word on a doubtful case. The notice is days old, so expect councils to add detail.
People type "best". You cannot write it.
Look at the "best" row in the table: patients ask for it in every speciality. A doctor or hospital may not claim it unless it can be verified independently, and the guidelines grade the consequences from a warning and ethics training up to suspension of registration (paragraph 10.1). A page that says "best" risks more than a bad website.
The way through is to write what a patient can check. The guidelines allow factual information about equipment, technology and diagnostic facilities, as long as there is no claim of superiority or guaranteed accuracy. So the page says which scanner is installed, which departments run, whether emergency cover is available at night and which schemes are accepted. A patient reads those as reasons to choose you, and none of them is a claim.
Reviews
Patients will write Google reviews whether or not you ask. The guidelines bar fake, paid and misleading reviews, bar testimonials in promotion, and say a doctor must not request or share patient reviews for promotion on social media. We take the cautious reading for clinics: no review-request messages and no reviews copied onto the site. That differs from the approach in our Google Business Profile service for shops and other businesses, and the difference is deliberate.
Your Google listing
A clinic that receives patients shows its address. Use the clinic's registered name with no keywords added, the category that matches the main speciality, the phone number patients should call, timings including days off, and photos of the premises. Photos of patients are out: the guidelines treat identifiable patient images as privacy-protected.
Where to start
Begin with the doctors directory and one page for each speciality, then the Google listing. A WhatsApp booking button comes next. If appointments are many, a booking web app can replace the phone queue.
Questions from clinics and hospitals in Karimnagar
What can a clinic website in Karimnagar say under the NMC guidelines?
A clinic website can state the clinic's name, location, contact details, departments, facilities, equipment, services, emergency services, accreditation and charges, along with each doctor's name, qualifications, speciality, registration details and availability. It cannot claim to be the best, guarantee results, or use testimonials and before-and-after photographs.
Can a clinic put patient reviews or testimonials on its website?
No. The NMC's guidelines of 6 October 2026 do not allow promotional testimonials and say patient consent does not make them permissible. A doctor must also not solicit or buy fake, paid or misleading reviews, or request and share patient reviews for promotion on social media. Ask your state medical council if you are unsure about a particular case.
Can a doctor in Karimnagar call themselves the best?
No. The guidelines name "best", "No.1 Specialist" and "100% success" as claims doctors must not make, and allow a superiority claim only when it can be verified independently. A clinic is safer showing facts a patient can check, such as equipment, services and accreditation.
Does a clinic website need to show the doctor's registration number?
The guidelines say a doctor who publishes online should disclose name, qualifications, registration status and the State or National Medical Register number, and that a clinical establishment should do the same for its doctors. Web Start India builds that into every doctor entry.
Can patients book a clinic appointment on WhatsApp?
Yes. A WhatsApp button can open a chat that already names the doctor or speciality, or the site can show free slots and record each appointment. Which one fits depends on how many appointments you handle in a day.
